"I help animals thrive while they are alive and help them transition when it is time."
About Me
Spending over 20 years in human healthcare as a registered nurse and educator, I have been touched by illness, death, and disenfranchised grief.
Somewhere along they way I discovered a passion for animal welfare and advocacy. From a shelter and sanctuary volunteer to a doctorate in Animal Behavior and an ordained animal chaplain. It’s been an adventure that has been dedicated to the loss of my best friend, and “fur-daughter”, Maggie. |

A Magpie’s Eyes |
Anyone who has ever lost an animal companion knows it is a special heartbreak that many do not understand. It is often an all-encompassing, but silent grief, bared alone. Although a life-long animal lover, one special soul touched my heart and changed my life forever. Take a walk with us through the memories of my life with Maggie, my "magpie."
